Winded 5K Charity Run
On September23rd Four Winds Brewing Co. in partnership with the Run Inn, Newman’s Fine Foods, Muscle Memory Training and Brooks Running shoes held the 2nd Annual “Winded” 5 km charity run for Deltassist. Over 190 runners took to the trails around Centennial Beach in Tsawwassen to raise over $7000 for Deltassist. We can’t thank all these wonderful community partners enough.
Yoga fund raiser for Deltassist
On September 15th Sweet Serenity Yoga and Fitness held a Yoga fund raiser for Deltassist at their studio in North Delta. Thank you for all your support.
Paradise in the Parking Lot
July through September a group of amazing volunteers banded together to build a community garden in the parking lot of Deltassist. This project will support food security projects as well as a therapeutic setting for counselling for years to come. Groups from Royal Bank, CNIB, BCAA and many individuals took part.
Take Back the Night Event
Thank you to our keynote speaker Jennifer Marchbank and our impact speakers for bringing their personal stories to the issues of violence in relationships. We would also like to thank the Department of Justice for funding this event and the North Delta Reporter for covering our event and informing the community.
Advantage Home “A-Team” Eggstravaganza
A huge thank you to the “A-Team”. On March 31, 2018 in Sunstone Park, North Delta the “A-Team” held An Eggstravaganza with all proceeds going to Deltassist. It was a beautiful day with all sorts of activities, vendors, games and fun for the whole family and they raised over $2000 for Deltassist. Another great event by the A-Team!
Kirkbride Elementary Boys Club
A huge thank you to the Kirkbride boys club for bringing in their donation of socks to Deltassist. Many of the socks will go into our DOVE committees Emergency kits to assist those fleeing abusive relationships. Kirkbride Elementary School is at 12150-92 Avenue Surrey, B.C.

A huge thank you to all the Service Clubs of Delta in partnering with Deltassist to ensure low income families in Delta will enjoy a lovely hamper this Christmas. From picking up the food donations to putting the hampers together and making sure they are delivered the Saturday before Christmas, we couldn’t do it without you.

A huge thank you to “The A Team”. On October 28th in Sunshine Hills park the “A-Team” held A Pumpkin Party with all proceeds going to Deltassist. It was a beautiful day with all sorts of activities, vendors, games and fun for the whole family and they raised $3500.
